Church Stretton is also close and can be achieved with a six mile drive, and the village of Dorrington is only four miles away. The village of Longnor itself is famous for the white lady of Longnor, and also contains Longnor Hall and the Church of St Mary. Longnor is a parish and village resting a short distance away from Church Stretton and the countryside setting of the Shropshire Hills aonb. The village rests on the River Onny is close to the Leebotwood railway station, and plays host to Longnor Park which occupies an ornamental garden. Within a short car journey is the county town of Shrewsbury where you will find a vast array of amenities and attractions.
