Guests consistently praise 'The Barn' for its immaculate condition, tranquil location, and high-quality furnishings. The property's renovation is frequently highlighted, with particular attention to the luxurious touches and attention to detail. The owner, Pete, is commended for his friendliness and helpfulness. The property's peaceful setting and proximity to Shrewsbury make it an ideal base for exploring Shropshire.
Reviewers are unanimous in their appreciation of the property's spotless presentation. The cleanliness is often described as top-notch, contributing to the overall comfort and appeal of the stay.
The property's location is highly praised for its quietness, beautiful views, and easy access to local attractions and countryside walks. Its proximity to Shrewsbury and other towns in Shropshire is seen as a significant advantage.
Comfort is a recurring theme in the reviews, with guests finding the property warm, well-equipped, and featuring comfortable beds and underfloor heating. The south-facing garden is also appreciated for its sun exposure.
Facilities at 'The Barn' are frequently mentioned as well-maintained and modern. The high-end fittings, state-of-the-art TV, and excellent Wi-Fi contribute to a luxurious experience. However, a small suggestion for a sound system indicates there is minor room for improvement.
The owner's thoughtfulness is evident from the personal check-ins and helpful directions. While a welcome pack is mentioned, it is noted that the property listing did not promise this, and the provision of such gifts should not be expected.

Shawbury, located roughly in the middle of Shropshire between Shrewsbury and Market Drayton, is a prosperous community. The town of Shawbury is well-supplied with a variety of businesses, such as a butcher, bakery, supermarket, bars, and even a church. Shrewsbury, the county town, is located inside the Severn loop and is rich in history and mediaeval architecture (it has over 600 listed structures). Take a stroll through the historic streets and squares paved with cobblestones, or attend one of the many annual celebrations. There are plenty of restaurants, taverns, and pubs in addition to a wide variety of both specialty stores and chain stores in the city. In addition to being Charles Darwin's birthplace, Shrewsbury is home to some notable landmarks, including the 1083-founded Abbey, Shrewsbury Castle, and the Quarry Park, site of the annual Shrewsbury Flower Show. Wroxeter Roman City, the Ironbridge Gorge World Heritage Site, and the museums therein are all within driving distance of Attingham Park, an opulent 18th-century mansion owned by the National Trust.

The hosts were welcoming and helpful. Every need was catered for and the dog friendly garden was the only true dog friendly area we have encountered. The cottage is ideally placed to discover all the area has to offer especially the many potteries. Local convenience store and fish and chip shop very useful. The peaceful and relaxing location would delight most people.
