Park-up in one of two secure off-road parking spaces before making your way up to your new abode. Be welcomed into the open-plan living space, where you can look forward to rustling up delicious meals in the well-equipped kitchen, ready to enjoy at the dining table over a bottle of wine. After dinner, why not head out to the enclosed sun terrace where you can soak up the amazing views on offer? As the evening cools, retreat to the sitting room, where you can snuggle up in front of a family favourite on the Smart TV with Netflix. After a day of hiking through the hills, wash away the day with a soothing soak in the bath or a refreshing shower, before choosing from one of two well-presented double bedrooms to catch your rest in. Only 10 miles separate the bustling community of Minsterley from the historic town of Shrewsbury amid the stunning Shropshire Hills. One mile away, in the village of Pontesbury, are additional services such takeout and restaurants, the Arscott Golf Club, Springlea Fishing Pools and the Pontesbury cycle/footpath. The Long Mynd, a refuge for walkers and wildlife watchers nearby, offers a handy area to unwind and enjoy the breathtaking landscape on offer. Shrewsbury, one of England's most beautiful heritage towns with more than 600 listed structures, lies tucked away on the River Severn's loop.     Views are spectacular from both outside and inside the lodge. Gaynor was extremely helpful and friendly. Gave us loads of tips of where to go. Extremely dog friendly our girls loved their stay. Would definitely recommend and we will definitely be returning
