It was a fabulous location for walking in and around Shrewsbury. The dining room was perfect for family games. As others have said, you need to move the furniture around if you have 6 adults who want to look at the TV - the Coronation was happening during our stay - so we watched a bit of that. The bedroom with the shower did not have a blind on the skylight which meant the people in that room were woken up very early. The 2 single beds were different heights but it would have been nice to have the option to put them together. Lots of us banged our heads on the central light over the dining table. The cooker hood was rather low and caused a few more banged heads. Fixing a blind and moving the dining room light are not big jobs but if they were fixed, it would be a great improvement. This was a very reasonably priced property and it was great to have the carpark so close as well. Thank you
Jennie
As other reviews have commented, the house was not quite as fresh looking as the pictures on the website. The info regarding the bins wasn't clear, so although we guessed on where to leave the recycling, there was no outdoor bin for general household (food) waste. Thanks for the biscuits and the pint of milk!
