Access to adjacent field. 2 dogs welcome, to be kept on a lead at all times (sheep country). Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: Families, couples and holidaymakers only. There is a pond in the owners’ grounds, 50 yards away. There is a stream and steep banks in the adjacent field.. A small, detached barn conversion within the owners’ grounds, in an elevated position overlooking the Tanat Valley and with a south facing patio and large grounds, the property is within ½ mile of the village of Treflach. The accommodation has been thoughtfully laid out, and visitors to the area will have easy access to Shropshire, Cheshire and Mid and North Wales. Offa’s Dyke National Trail runs within ½ mile of the property. Llanrhaedr waterfall, Powys Castle, Chirk Castle, Erddig, water sports at Bala, Lake Vyrnwy and Snowdon are all an easy drive. Shop 2 miles, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

Crabapple cottage is a real get away from it all experience. The cottage is beautiful and a real hidden gem. The hosts Simon & Cath are lovely and made us feel more than welcome. The cottage is more than well equipped with everything you need, we were particularly impressed with all the kitchen accessories, such good quality.The bed linen is devine & guarantees a good nights sleep. We had 2 dogs with us and the walks down the lane are beautiful. Loads to do if you want to, but we went for a complete chill.Highly recommended, if you want cosy, peace and quiet this is the place but only a short drive to Oswestry.Looking forward to going back.Thank you to the hosts.

The cottage is very compact but very well appointed with top quality equipment and excellent beds. However the ensuite are very narrow and large people would have great difficulty in the cramped conditions. Owners are very obliging and even gave me a card for my 80th birthday. The property is well situated for walker's and dog owner's and is within a few miles from Oswestry with it's supermarket pubs and an excellent sculpture park.

Excellent holiday cottage. Extremely clean and the hosts were very helpful. Not far from Oswestry about a 15 minute drive. Would highly recommend it as there are many attractions in the area.
