Offering spectacular views over rolling countryside to the Malvern Hills, this beautifully converted former chapel enjoys a peaceful, rural and isolated setting in delightfully named Much Marcle – boasting three village inns, a historic house and three cider makers including Westons. Adjoining the owners’ home, but not overlooked, it is set within their 2-acre grounds and enjoys shared use of their lovely garden. One small dog is also welcome at the property. It is equidistant from the popular ‘black and white’ market town of Ledbury and the water sports of Ross-on-Wye (both 6 miles) and within easy reach of Eastnor Castle. An ideal holiday location to explore the many landscapes of beautiful Herefordshire, the Wye Valley and the historic remains of past conflicts in this Border country. Riding, golf, fishing and walks nearby.

What a wonderful cottage an absolutely beautiful development from a small chapel into a lovely cottage cosy cottage. The cottage is very clean and looks as thought it had been decorated throughout just for our visit!! It has a well equipped kitchen area, comfortable settees and bed. The bathroom has an over the bath shower and storage cupboards under the washbasin for all the bit and pieces. The lounge has a gas log-burner style heater, which we used on one chilly evening, it heated the cottage very quickly and was rapidly turned off. The gardens are really nice and the owners invited us to use the gardens which are equipped with seating and a table which we used on sunny days. Off road parking close to the front door so is ideal. It is in a lovely rural location with fantastic views. For us it was ideal as we wanted a chill-out week so having to drive to shops and restaurants was not a problem. Ledbury is not far to drive and is a great place to explore. Hereford and Ross-on-Wye are around 1/2 hours drive and well worth visiting. Westons Cider Mill in Much Marcle do tours and have a restaurant "The Scrumpy House" which do a wonderful Sunday lunch is less than 10 minutes drive from the cottage.To sum up an absolutely beautiful cottage where we really want to come back to.

Really lovely property in a peaceful and quiet location. We had use of our own drive to park our car.Rachel checked in with me by message and to welcome us in person but otherwise left us to it so it felt like we had the place to ourselves.The bed was very comfortable, lovely hot shower and a surprising amount of space upstairs and downstairs (it was bigger than the photos indicated).Kitchen was well equipped and Rachel kindly left us a bottle of milk (and cider!) We would definitely consider staying again if we were in the area.

Nice property in a scenic location. The property had a couple of minor maintenance issues that could be dealt with and lacked a few minor items like hand towels but overall we enjoyed our stay in the property and in the area.
