Yartleton Farm offers a tranquil and picturesque retreat with stunning views, ideal for relaxation and countryside walks. Guests praise the well-equipped, spotlessly clean accommodation and the warm welcome from hosts Anni and Peter. The property's seclusion is appreciated, though some note the firmness of the mattress and the lack of nearby amenities.
The property is consistently described as spotlessly clean, indicating a high standard of cleanliness maintained by the hosts.
The location is highly praised for its beautiful views and proximity to walking trails, although the lack of nearby amenities and the remote setting are noted.
Overall, guests find the accommodation comfortable and homely. One mention of a mattress being too firm prevents a perfect score.
The lodge is described as well-appointed and equipped with easy-to-use appliances. A missing coffee machine manual is a minor point of contention.
While guests appreciate the welcome gifts and fresh flowers, as these are personal touches that may vary, it is politely noted that such gestures are not guaranteed.

We have been on a number of cottage holidays and this is one of the best. There are splendid views from the property and excellent walks from the door with May Hill being in close proximity. The tranquility and privacy was also notable.

Lovely welcome from Anni and Peter. Spectacular views from the beautiful property. Accommodation overall very homely and comfortable although my wife did find the mattress a little too firm. Kitchen well equipped, great having a dishwasher. We couldn't find the operating instructions for the upmarket coffee machine, however we did not want to bother the owners. The Moody Cow serves great food, if a little expensive. Perfect Sunday lunch at the friendly Kings Arms, Newent. Amazing walk close by up National Trust May Hill - the signage runs out half way round the route, thank goodness for Google Maps - stunning panoramic views do reward all the effort! Gloucester Cathedral well worth a visit, stunning architecture. Thank you for a lovely stay, we look forward to returning.
