About this property

Resting in the coastal village of Kessingland, which offers a perfect holiday spot along the Suffolk coast, is this charming two-bedroom semi-detached property, Pebble House. Offering a beautifully presented interior for a family or group of four, you can reach the beach by foot in just minutes and have all the amenities you need close by. Come through the front door and into the immaculate open-plan living space, with natural wood floors offsetting the white and cream-coloured furnishings wonderfully, it is a charming environment to relax in after busy days at the beach or walks in the Suffolk countryside. Retire to the comfort of one of the sofas and enjoy a film or show on the Smart TV with Sky, while someone gets busy in the kitchen cooking up something hearty using the good range of appliances available. Gather around the dining table and tuck into your meal, with view out to the pretty patio courtyard through the full length windows, flooding the last of the evening light in. Upstairs find two gorgeous bedrooms, with the double room not only enjoying delightful bedding and furnishings, but also benefiting from a small balcony, so you can wake up and enjoy the fresh morning breeze. Completing the interior is the lovely twin room, continuing the thoughtful décor, and the bathroom which holds a P-shaped bath with a shower over. Spend mornings sat out in the garden with a coffee and breakfast while you decide where to head to next on your Suffolk sojourn; visit the beach with long stretches of golden sands offering the perfect place to sunbath, sandcastle build and paddle in the sea, or visit Kessingland’s famous zoo, Africa Alive, home to a whole host of animals including lions, cheetahs, giraffes and reptiles among many others, providing a wonderful experience for any age. Travel up the coast to Lowestoft, the northernmost part of the Suffolk coast, and famous for being the first place to see the sunrise in the UK, you can wander around museums, walk along the two piers, or catch a show at the theatre. With so many opportunities for excitement surrounding you, Pebble House makes for a wonderful retreat to Suffolk.

Kessingland is a wonderful village resting on the east coast of England in the county of Suffolk. This area is very interesting not only for its coast but for the Palaeolithic and Neolithic implements found here, as well as the remains of an ancient forest buried in the seabed. Nowadays it is host to numerous holiday villages and a delightful beach, along with pubs and shops, you will have all you need within easy reach. Head to the African themed park, Africa Alive!, with lions, lemurs, cheetahs and giraffes among just some of the host of wildlife present here. Kessingland is a wonderful destination for you and your loved ones to enjoy the Suffolk coast.

Everything has been thought of even fans which were very welcome as we have had 2 weeks of glorious weather. The owner even offered clean bedding after our first week, but as there was a washing machine plus washing line and pegs we washed the bedding, which dried really quickly in the glorious sunshine. There is plenty to do both locally and further afield. I highly recommend pebble house and Kessingland for a holiday.

Well placed in the area too with nice places to visit. Our only adverse comment is that we found the double bed mattress to be “extremely firm” and in need of a thicker mattress topper perhaps? This really didn’t detract from the enjoyment of our stay though.

However sadly it had a few problems. The fridge was dirty and the kettle was so full of scale, We bought descaler and had to do it twice and give it a good clean before we could use it. The hook on the bathroom door had broken off, we found it in the wardrobe! It was generally clean, well equipped and maintained, just a few bits missed. Little things that make a difference. All in all a lovely holiday home
