About this property

Switch off and relax at this cosy rural retreat in the South Norfolk village of Kenninghall; the quaint cottage is perfect for a chilled-out getaway with your friends or family and canine companion spent exploring the local area on pretty walks and visiting local towns and attractions.

The characterful cottage has heaps of charm and original features, and has been

lovingly restored and renovated to make a comfy pad. Go inside to the lounge/diner, inviting you to sit round the wood burner and chat, read a good book or nod off. Catch up on your favourite Netflix series on the Smart TV and enjoy memorable meals in the dining area of the room that you’ve prepared in the compact kitchen, which has everything you need to rustle up tasty fare. The contemporary shower room is on ground floor then it's up the cottage-style stairs to the two gorgeous bedrooms, a cute double room and a pretty single room, which has a trundle bed for a fourth guest. Head outside through the kitchen to the enclosed garden and sit and enjoy the sunshine on the patio while the pup plays on the lawn.

Go on beautiful walks through the Norfolk countryside from your front door. Enjoy a day out at Thetford Forest (15 miles away) with miles and miles of walks and exciting outdoor play facilities. Visit the market towns of Attleborough (8 miles) and Wymondham (12 miles) to go shopping. Snetterton Race Circuit (5 miles) is a must-visit for motorsport enthusiasts and children will love Banham Zoo (2 mile), home to over 2,000 animals from around the world. Call in at Kenninghall’s pub for a drink and a hearty meal on your way home, it has a lovely beer garden for summer days and roaring log fires for chilly ones.

Fantastic spot, amazing building. I think its now our favourite little holiday let weve been to. Very tastefully modernised to not take away from the buildings heritage and 'old cottage feel'. The heated tiles were a surprising plus! and to top it all, not a 'live laugh love' type decoration to be found, very refreshing to see (or not see) ;) 5 stars!
