The pretty Suffolk village of Wenshaston itself is very picturesque and is the home of the 16th century Doom Panel painting, considered to be a very rare work of art. But the real draw of this location is its proximity to the beautiful beaches of Dunwich, Southwold, Walberswick and Aldeburgh, all celebrated for their natural beauty and quaint seaside vibes. Southwold is of course home to its famous pier and is packed full of artisan and boutique cafés, inns, bistros, restaurants and shops. It really is a charming town and along with that much celebrated wide, sandy beach it is also home to a really special little cinema, the Electric Picture Palace. Make time to visit Aldeburgh too and explore the picturesque town and the historic Martello Tower. And undertake a blustery beach walk or a spot of sunbathing on Dunwich beach, a truly breathtaking spot. In fact, there is so much to do, you will struggle to fit it all in, which is a great excuse to head back to the Church Rooms and fall in love with it all over again!

Lovely and comfortable but starting to show some end of season wear and tear. Plug sticks in second bathroom. Flush doesn't stop in same one. Shower control doesn't work all the time in the other bathroom. A bit mean with consumables. However this is for information it didn't affect our enjoyment at all.
