This two bedroom cottage offers an ideal retreat for couples, small families, walkers, cyclists, music lovers and bird watchers.
Tunstall is a small village located between Woodbridge and Aldeburgh, near to the Suffolk coast. The village pub serves excellent pub food and holds many events throughout the year. Just on the outskirts of the village is Tunstall Forest, which has now been designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There are many footpaths to explore in this area, and the neighbouring Rendlesham Forest is great for cycling and other outdoor activities. Other notable hot spots nearby include the foodie destination of Orford, and the classical music capital of Suffolk, Snape Maltings Concert Hall, home of Aldeburgh Music. Beach 9 miles. Pub and restaurant 200 yards.

Cottage was great. Very well equipped. Good location for exploring the area. Pub was good too. But stairs very steep and narrow. I am disabled so if I had known when booking I would have rejected this property. Having said that we still enjoyed our stay. Many thanks.

We enjoyed our 2 day break in Chantry Cottage. The cottage is very comprehensively and thoughtfully equipped to make the stay seem like being at home (Sky Q box) , particularly the wide range of kitchen gadgets (e.g. Nespresso machine) and utensils. All furniture and fittings are of good quality and appliances easy to operate with clear instructions for the unfamiliar. We would stay again if visiting this area.

There was no mention of the steel difficult stairs in the cottage details. If I had known gown and they were I wouldn't have booked the cottage. Worrying about going down the stairs in the night to the bathroom ruined my holiday!
