Combining cosy interiors with an excellent location close to the Heritage Coast, it is the perfect base for couples, small families or friends looking to explore one of Suffolk’s most beautiful areas. Inside, the cottage is warm and welcoming, with thoughtfully furnished rooms designed for comfort and easy living. The sitting room is an inviting space to unwind after a day exploring the coast and countryside with a cosy wood burner for chiller days, while the well equipped kitchen provides everything needed for relaxed breakfasts, leisurely suppers or picnics for days out. Upstairs, there are two comfortable bedrooms one king and one single, offering restful accommodation for up to three guests. Outside, the cottage garden is a delight and should the weather be a bit wet there is a cosy under cover sitting out area. The cottage garden includes a covered seating corner, handy when the weather is less kind. Wenhaston has a traditional pub, village stores and a friendly atmosphere, while scenic paths from the village suit walking or cycling. Nearby Southwold and Walberswick offer beaches, dunes and estuary scenery, and rspb Minsmere is a superb nature reserve for wildlife watching. In winter the cottage is decorated for Christmas, adding a gentle festive touch to your stay.

This was the sweetest, nicest place we've ever stayed at! The cottage is so nice, and was perfect for our needs. We loved the garden too! We felt very welcome, and the host was warm and communicative; we could check in early without any issues, we were welcomed by local treats. All in all, a perfect weekend, and we'll definitely be back for more stays!

We had a wonderful 4 nights stay at No.6. The cottage is absolutely beautiful, the photos don't do it justice. It is exquisitely presented with a beautiful decor that provided a very calm and relaxing atmosphere to unwind during our stay. It's quirky with lots of different spaces to sit. We particularly appreciated the covered seating looking out over the adorable garden. We enjoyed lots of trips to Southwold, only 15 mins drive away, as well as strolls around the immediate countryside, and a trip to Beccles.
