Filled with quirky features, exposed beams and stone, this wonderful property provides accommodation for one or two couples or a family wanting to enjoy the beauty of the Cotswolds AONB. Accessed through a small gate, beneath an unusual stone archway, there is an outdoor, sheltered porchway for muddy boots and a wonderful stable door takes you inside the property. A step up from the hallway takes you into the traditional living/dining room, with a stunning exposed stone wall, wooden beams and a stone fire place, complete with an electric fire, adding a warmth and homely feeling to the room, with a choice of large sofa and two armchairs to sink into and enjoy watching the Smart TV, or make plans for the following day, while the dining table comfortably seats the whole group, perfect for enjoying meals together. The compact but well designed kitchen makes the most of the space, with all of the appliances and amenities you could wish for, including an oven, fridge with ice box, microwave and even a washing machine. Upstairs are two charming and spacious bedrooms, a double and a twin, each decorated with crisp, fresh white linen and with skylights allowing in natural light, while the twin follows a lavender theme, with Snowshill's lavender farm not too far away from the property. The good-sized family bathroom completes the interior of the property, with a shower over bath, so you have the option of how to get ready for each day, while the WC is in a separate room next door. Outside is a small courtyard at the front of the cottage with table and chairs, should you wish to sit out with a good book and a cup of coffee or enjoy an alfresco meal, while roadside parking is available in front of the property. Snowshill village is a short walk away, with a pretty village pub, lavender farm, alpaca farm and the 16th century Snowshill Manor and Garden, owned by the National Trust. The cottage is ideal for walking holidays in the Cotswolds and close to the Cotswold Way, a 102-mile-long footpath and national trail that runs from Chipping Campden to Bath Abbey, encompassing picturesque villages and countryside scenery along the way.
