Guests say

The Cottage in Malmesbury is highly praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and prime location. Guests appreciate the well-equipped facilities, the beautiful decor, and the peaceful garden. The town's charm and proximity to local attractions enhance the experience. Some minor issues with parking and a suggestion for a guest book are noted, but overall, the property is warmly recommended for a delightful stay.

Guests consistently mention the cottage's immaculate condition, noting it is 'perfectly clean' and 'spotlessly clean', indicating a very high standard of cleanliness.

The location is frequently described as excellent, with easy access to local shops, pubs, and attractions. The proximity to the Cotswolds and historical sites adds to its appeal.

Comfort is a highlight, with guests finding the beds luxurious and the cottage warm and welcoming. The overall atmosphere is described as comfortable and stylish.

Facilities are well-regarded, with the cottage being well-equipped and beautifully furnished. However, there are suggestions for a guest book and minor feedback on kitchenware, which slightly affect the score.

While guests mention a generous welcome pack and toys for kids, there is not enough information to assess the consistency of such thoughtful gestures across all stays. Therefore, while appreciated, these gifts are not guaranteed.

The cottage is beautiful, clean, comfortable and in a lovely location. We loved everything about it! The fire place, the decor, the kitchen had everything we needed and when we got there, there was a box of lovely goodies which felt really special. There’s even toys for the kids which made the place even more perfect. We will definitely come back!

Beautiful cottage inside the old Avon Mill development. Short walk into town and Waitrose store is a few moments walk over the footbridge. Ideal location for exploring southern Cotswolds. My Estate car was a little longer than the allocated parking space but not a problem in practice. We would definitely return here in the future.

We loved the cottage. It was spotlessly clean, very well equipped, and felt really comfortable throughout our stay. The beds were comfy, the bath was lovely, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The location is fantastic, and the welcome book was very helpful. The only small issues were around parking, as we weren’t sure which space to use and the contact details we had didn’t work. A brief welcome text with parking details would have been really helpful. We also felt that some new towels would be a nice addition, as they were a little tired, and a wooden spoon in the kitchen would help prevent scratching the otherwise lovely saucepans. We’d also personally have preferred the Christmas tree to be down, as we’re traditionalists and usually take decorations down by Twelfth Night, though we appreciate that this is very much a personal preference.Overall, a wonderful place to stay and we would happily recommend it.
