Built on the site of the historic Waldon Castle there aren't many places with such historic surroundings as Sea Salt Lodge from the turret in the corner of the decking to the garden wall which once made up part of this castle pile.
With the look of a Swiss ski chalet, the whole house has a bright and breezy theme througout. The wonderful living room has been designed to take in the elevated position above Torbay, with floor to ceiling windows flooding the room with natural light and giving you an inviting area to relax together.
Three thoughfully designed bedrooms are ready for weary legs and heavy eyes, with a large double bedroom with attached sun room and a four poster room overlooking the town centre on the ground floor. The third bedroom is a twin room just off the hallway on the first floor and offers more views of Torquay.
The garden is a real sun trap and wraps around the house to give an option to soak up some well earned rays no matter what time of day. Enjoy coffee in the sun room in the morning, or use the decking and built in BBQ for a relaxing evening outdoors. There is even a covered bench with a patio heater if you just can't bear to part with the outdoors.
Close to Torquay seafront and the beautiful harbourside, there are numerous days out, like Living Coasts and Torre Abbey Sands that are within touching distance and several more which are just a short drive away with easy access to Dartmoor, Paignton Zoo.

Great stay at your lovely property. Beautifully decorated. Loved the arrangement of the outside seating areas. Lovely welcome package. Hosts very helpful and welcoming. We would definitely return. Had nice meals at Amici and Le Bistrot Pierre, and the fish and chips at Simply Fish in Brixham were lovely. The beach hut and games room were a real bonus!
