History meets modern day at Old Manor Farm in Torquay. A beautifully restored barn, Honsysuckle is part of The Old Manor Farmhouse, a 16th century Devon longhouse, and has retained much of its original character such as stunning oak beams enfolded by the cob and high, beamed vaulted ceilings.
Ideal for a family or two couples, Honeysuckle has an open plan living, kitchen and dining space that makes for an inviting area to unwind, and luxurious features throughout add a little indulgence for those needing to relax. Upstairs, you’ll find flexible sleeping arrangements, as both bedrooms have super king size beds that can be arranged as twins to suit your group.
On sunny days, step outside into the large communal garden with its stone walls and apple trees from the old orchard . There’s a barbeque area with furniture so you can sit back while you wait for your sausages to brown, and the trampoline’s always a welcome sight for the kids.
Honeysuckle is close to Torquay on the beautiful English Riviera, where you’ll find sandy beaches, coastal walks, shops, restaurants, golf and everything in between.

Honeysuckle was part of the complex which won the 2013 South West Hospitality Awards for the best self catering accommodation and was the runner up in 2014.

Accommodation
Nearby there is an excellent selection of local shops while Torquay town centre, the harbour and beaches are a short drive away. Watcombe Beach is 1/2 mile away and offers free parking at the top of the incline allowing you to access either the South West Coast path or the beach.
The beach at Watcombe is accessed via a fairly steep slope however provides spectacular scenery and secluded beach with a beach cafe. It is dog friendly all year round. If you don’t want the walk down, try one of Torquays other 21 beaches, with Oddicombe and its tram just along to the right.
Take the coast path and admire the stunning scenery - in one direction Maidencombe and in the other St Marychurch and Oddicombe beach.

We were looking for a cottage with some character, Honeysuckle was truly perfect! The information folders provided are fantastic; we advise future guests take a good look through them. There is so much to do for families around and in Torbay; Model village, Bygones and Woodlands were our favorites. We also found; Angels tearooms and the Thatched Tavern incredible for food. We will never forget this home from home experience! Martin and Kim are extremely helpful; nothing is too much for them. The girls absolutely loved the trampoline and the DVD'S provided. It's been brilliant, THANKYOU XX

We were looking for a week's break somewhere lovely, Honeysuckle was perfect. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pilgrims Rest. The Thatched Tavern is well worth a visit for future guests; beautiful gardens, friendly staff and lovely food! We also enjoyed both Kents Cavern and Bygones especially if the weather wasn't too great. The scenery around the cottage was stunning, with great restaurants close by, the best feeling knowing we were returning to such a lovely property at the end of the day. Thank you so much for the chocolate cake & wine, such a lovely gesture. The barn was amazing and we'll definitely be returning in the not too distant future.

Honeysuckle looked lovely online so we decided to take it, we weren't disappointed. The barn is lovely looking with great amenities and excellent location. Paignton Zoo was a brilliant day out! The kids absolutely loved it as well as the Miniature pony Centre. Thank you for your warm welcome and relaxed atmosphere. Any requests we made were met with no trouble at all! We will certainly be back in the future and will recommend you to friends and family. Thank you.
