There is a dining area for up to four people and a fitted kitchen. The contemporary kitchen has sleek, black worktops with contrasting white cabinets, housing all equipment you could possibly need during your stay. Upstairs offers a selection of sleeping arrangements, including a double and twin bedroom, ideal for friends and families.
There is a separate family shower room and WC. The famous seaside town of Torquay is an excellent location to visit, with a number of tourist destinations. Babbacombe is a district within Torquay and has several beaches, theaters and cliffs available to use. For a day trip as a family, why not venture towards Living Coasts, a coastal zoo owned by South West Environmental Parks. Let's not forget about Torre Abbey, a historic building and art gallery. It was founded in 1196 as a monastery for Premonstratensian canons, and is now the best-preserved medieval monastery in Devon and Cornwall. Also nearby is Kents Cavern, a cave system which is most notable for its archaeological and geological features.
It has been open to the public and was named a geological Site of Special Scientific Interest since 1952. Cottage 1 Newcourt is the perfect place to stay in order to access many of Devon’s finest sights.

We were there 5 weeks in total whilst we waited to move into our new home. The property was well equipped with everything we required. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of bedding. Parking was very convenient- right outside the door. The location was ideal - walking distance to town and the sea front. The host was very responsive and friendly.

So close to the beach and food / cafes / ferry to Brixton. Only point is would have been nice to have at least one toilet roll left :).

The Harbour is lovely we had a lovely trip to Brixham on the ferry and had a lovely boat trip around the local coast, no whales or dolphins unfortunately but a few seals and loads of local bird life Not an idea walk back uphill I enjoyed it personally but my Wife struggled but for £5 its a very quick and short taxi drive there was 4 of us so its very cheap to have a local taxi The apartment and Torquay are an idea base to explore the local areas Brixham, Paignton, Teignmouth, Dartmouth & Dawlish all pretty close and well worth a visit its a lovely coastline to explore. If you are an Agatha Christie fan I would recommend a visit to "Green Way" her holiday home its beautiful and we had a great visit to Dartmouth Castle - lots of English Heritage & National Trust places to visit locally too. The property is a credit to both Sarah & Paul the owners and again we had a lovey place recommended by Sykes Holiday Cottages our second UK holiday using Sykes ...... Many Thanks John & Dee
