Fisherman’s Loft enjoys an enviable location directly on Brixham Harbour. It is the ideal place to enjoy the atmosphere of this historic fishing town with the convenience of a central, vibrant location. The Golden Hind replica is almost within touching distance, and you’ll find a selection of local restaurants, pubs, shops and other attractions right on your doorstep.
The property has a double bedroom with an en-suite shower room and a second bedroom with a bunk bed both off a curved hallway which leads to the main living area where the room has been set up to make the most of its fantastic location.
The property is accessed from the front through a communal hallway and up two flights of stairs to the second floor and is situated on the heart of the harbour side and is handy for Brixham’s delightful restaurants, many serving fish landed in the town on the same day.
The early birds can enjoy a tour of the Brixham Fish Market which begins at 6am and takes in the daily fish auction and enjoy a locally sourced breakfast as part of the cost, and a sunrise walk along the breakwater also comes highly recommended.

😀Great area, right on the harbour, lovely harbour views from lounge, every thing you need for your stay, although clean 🙃,interior walls could do with a fresh paint job. That said l Would stay again in a heartbeat !

We’ve stayed at this flat 3 times now, which really says a lot about how much we love it. The location is excellent, the views are wonderful, and the flat itself is reasonably comfortable and well laid out. The kitchen is well equipped, making it easy to cook and feel at home.We also really appreciate the thoughtful welcome touches, including the tea, sugar, milk and biscuits, as well as the starter pack with washing-up liquid, cloth, sponge and dishwasher tablets. These little extras make arriving so much more pleasant.There are just a couple of small points we wanted to mention for awareness. 1. The under cupboard kitchen lights were mostly not working, with only one lighting up. 2. On arrival, the toilet in the bathroom needed a clean, and the bath could also have done with some attention. In addition, new toilet brushes are needed and should be replaced regularly, and it would be appropriate to provide toilet cleaner or bleach to maintain basic hygiene during a stay. 3. The windows were very dirty and needed cleaning, they obviously haven’t been cleaned for a long time which meant we weren’t able to enjoy the wonderful views at their best.4. The carpet in the lounge is very dirty and stained.Overall, this is a lovely flat and we’ve thoroughly enjoyed all of our stays. With a few minor improvements, it would be absolutely perfect, and we would happily stay again.
