A traditional fisherman’s cottage set over three floors and situated just a minutes walk from Brixham’s picturesque harbour and town centre. The property is very quaint and has lots of character with winding staircases, nooks and crannies and a spacious living room on the top floor, making the most of the wonderful views over Brixham Quay and Marina.
The cottage is a very comfortable, well-appointed holiday home with gas central heating, double glazed windows and Wi-Fi. It is situated at the top of a steep, narrow flight of steps leading up from the harbourside.

Lovely cosy, quirky, well equipped cottage in my favourite part of Brixham, all of my childhood holidays in the '70's were in Compas cottage which is next door. The cottage has everything you need and the view from the upstairs sitting room is just perfect but note that the stairs could be tricky if you're not as agile as you used to be, though this is common in old Brixham cottages! I would definitely book Pilgrims again for my next visit to Brixham.

Wanted a place to stay in South Devon as a last minute Birthday Break. Found Pilgrims Cottage in Brixham and it was everything we expected. Having read the existing Reviews, we knew what to expect. Steep, narrow, winding stairs, low ceilings and a step hazard in the bathroom. (Ngl that did catch us out a few times). However, the positives more than outweigh those negatives. Firstly, the location. Above the harbour, a few minutes walk to shops, bars, food outlets, the sea, boats, gift shops to name but a few. The View from the top floor is amazing, whether you're looking at the blue sky overlooking the colourful cottages on the other side of the harbour, watching the boats come in and out, or simply people watching, it's so relaxing! Secondly, there is everything you want if you want to cater for yourself. The kitchen is well equipped (the dishwasher was a godsend), the beds and bedrooms comfortable and the bathroom spacious and modern. The owner had gone to the trouble of leaving little reminder notes in each room of wifi passwords and how things worked (shall but appreciated detail). But the big plus was how clean everything was. We would readily go back again.
