Conveniently situated just minutes from the M5, it is an ideal touring base from which to explore the beautiful Somerset countryside and its famous attractions. The sea can be reached within 1.5 miles, and the coastal resorts of Burnham-on-Sea, Brean and Weston-super-Mare are within a 10 minute drive. Walking and cycling can be enjoyed in the Mendip Hills, The Quantocks and along the Somerset Levels. A visit to Cheddar Gorge with its quaint town and amazing gorge and caves is a must, as is the Glastonbury Tor and Abbey, and the magnificent cathedral at Wells. Further afield, the cities of Bath and Bristol are within a 30 minute drive. Shop ½ miles, pub and restaurant 200 yards.

Perfect for a Christmas getaway. Easily accessible just off the M5, but nicely located in a quiet village. The house is very spacious, clean, warm and well equipped and who can beat an excellent outdoor hot tub on a crisp winters day. We had a fantastic Christmas holiday and would highly recommend the property.

Lovely space. Plenty of room for all guests with separate living rooms a huge bonus for us as well as a giant dining room table to socialise and enjoy meals. Kitchen is perfectly well equipped for anything you could need including 2 fridges and dishwasher. Having been on a few hot tub holidays I can honestly say this is the biggest hot tub we have ever had no sitting on top of each other or touching toes. All downstairs rooms clean and comfy so just what you need with a lovely fire in one living room. All upstairs rooms were clean and tidy with plenty of space to hang things and put away in drawers.

Absolutely love this house. Plenty of room for our large family to have space from each other. Loved the garden and the hot tub, was able to see squirrels, rabbits and woodpeckers within the garden. Loved cooking and sitting in the kitchen.Look forward to booking again in the future
