We had a lovely relaxing stay in Birch Cleave cottages. They were beautifully decorated, well equipped and very clean. Perfect base for exploring Exmoor.

This is a beautiful cottage set in the heart of Exmoor. Despite being August it rained almost constantly on our long weekend. We still enjoyed our break though as the cottage is lovely and cosy and had everything we needed. The outdoor area is shared with the other cottages and is not completely enclosed. As it is right on a busy road this could be a concern.

Fantastic location, with footpaths and bridleways just outside the door and a beautiful cottage, which was very light, clean and delightfully presented. The Exmoor Forest Inn, just across the road, served delicious food and everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Can't wait to come back and stay ....
