Accommodation
The kitchen area is compact yet well-equipped and includes fridge (with small freezer compartment), dishwasher, instant boiling water tap, washing machine, tumble dryer, and electric oven and hob. Other equipment includes toaster, kettle, cafetière, variety of cookware, kitchen utensils, cutlery, crockery and glasses.
There is a dining table with seating for 4 between the kitchen and living areas.
The living area has a television with Freesat, and wifi is available throughout the property at no extra cost. An iron and ironing board, and hairdryers are all provided for your convenience.
Electricity and heating costs are included in the price of your accommodation. Central heating is fitted throughout the property and there is a wood-burner in the living room. Logs and kindling provided on request.
Both bedrooms have storage and hanging space and USB charge points. Bed linen and towels are provided for your convenience. Please bring outdoor/beach towels if you wish to take them with you on day trips.
There can be limited mobile phone signal in parts of Exmoor (due to the rural nature of the area and the beautiful moorlands, hills, valleys and woodlands). Mobile phone signal in Simonsbath can be patchy (depending on your provider) but free wifi is included with the accommodation price, and you can use wifi calling for keeping in touch with home if you need to.
Up to 2 well-behaved dogs welcome for supplement of £20 per dog. Please do not allow them on the furniture or beds please, thank you for your cooperation.

Perfect, location was amazing for a chilled getaway. A proper home from home with all of the facilities needed, with the addition of a fantastic pub across the road. Would definitely recommend and plan to return next year! Thank you for having us.

Ideally placed for visiting coast and moor, Somerset and Devon. Beautiful location and plenty of places to visit close by. The standard in this cottage is far superior to any that we have visited anywhere in the UK. It is truly a home from home. It's clean, warm and comfortable and everything is.... We really couldn't fault anything. Thank you. The Exmoor Forest Inn opposite has excellent service and food and many placed in the surrounds also offer good cuisine.
