Guests say

Cherry Cottage is a beautifully maintained, tranquil rural retreat, perfect for those seeking peace and relaxation. Guests consistently praise its cleanliness, comfort, and well-equipped facilities, with many enjoying the abundance of wildlife and scenic views. The cottage is especially suited to dog owners and families, and the friendly owners are often mentioned. While the remote location adds to its charm, a car is essential. Occasional minor issues, such as the approach road and small maintenance points, are noted but do not detract from the overwhelmingly positive experience.

Multiple reviews highlight the immaculate condition of the cottage, with guests describing it as spotlessly clean and well-presented. Only one review mentions some pet hairs on the floor, but this is a rare exception.

The rural, peaceful setting is widely appreciated, offering tranquillity and beautiful countryside views. The remote location is seen as a positive by most, though some note the long, bumpy track and the need for a car. Proximity to local attractions and walks is also praised.

Guests frequently mention the cottage's comfort, including cosy beds, spacious rooms, and a relaxing atmosphere. The property is suitable for guests with limited mobility and is described as comfortable for both people and dogs.

The cottage is described as very well equipped, with modern conveniences such as a dishwasher, wet room, and log burner. Facilities are maintained to a high standard, though a few minor suggestions (e.g., oven glove, sharper knife) are mentioned.

Many guests mention thoughtful touches such as welcome hampers with scones, clotted cream, fresh bread, eggs, and apple juice. While these gifts are frequently appreciated, it should be noted that such gestures are not guaranteed.
