The cottage was great in every way apart from the weather, too hot! and with a wall off glass it was difficult to be inside but too hot to be outside anywhere with the dog. A fan was provided and luckily we had taken our more powerful fan so we managed to stay comfortable A great spot for national trust though lots of them shut due to the extreme heat.Glen welcomed us when we arrived then left us to it which is how we like it. We would definitely come back!

Lovely holiday cottage in very peaceful rural setting but close enough to a town with shops, take away food and restaurants. Ideal if you prefer to have a quiet chilled out holiday but with less than an hours drive away from many famous attractions. There was a little welcome pack for us and if you had a four legged friend a little treat for them also.
