The property was clean, well equipped, comfortable and warm. It has its own off road parking space. The host was present when we arrived to welcome us and show us round and left us a cream tea and bottle of wine which was much appreciated. Our stay was over the Christmas holiday and window lights, a Christmas tree and a wreath on the door were lovely touches. Although we were self catering we had hoped to try the local pub, The Squirrel, which had been recommended but unfortunately they stopped serving food the weekend before we arrived. The coast and several town centres were within a 30 minute drive which were ideal for walks and shopping. Would thoroughly recommend if you were looking for a quiet, rural setting.

An excellent stable conversion set in beautiful countryside. There is a pub just up the road where they serve local beers and good food, shops are a few miles away in Chard. The cottage has everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay, Angie and Wayne are excellent hosts.Seaton, Beer, Branscombe and Lyme Regis are about 40minutes drive away and are well worth a visit. We had a very enjoyable week there.
