Site Description
Henfields Country Retreat is part of our Autograph Lodge Holidays Collection and is nestled in the foothills of the Quantock Hills with panoramic views of the Mendips and Somerset levels. Designed to ensure guests have a luxurious stay whether you are here for a romantic break or a getaway for the family.
The site is located in walking distance of the local village where you will be able to find somewhere to eat and drink or even just to pick up something from the local shop. After a day exploring the countryside via the popular footpaths or even visiting the local 18 hole golf course, you can retreat to your open plan living accommodation and enjoy the hot tub with the spectacular countryside views.
No day visitors, guests will only be allowed on site if they are booked to stay in the lodge. Check in is available from 4pm and check out is 9am to allow extra time for extended cleaning routines.

My husband and I enjoyed a relaxing four night stay at Henfields Country Retreat following our wedding. The check-in process was simple and we felt very welcomed as we were provided with robes/towels for the hot tub as well as local cider, apple juice and tourist information.The lodge we stayed in was Rabbits Warren Lodge and it was spacious, comfortable and very clean. The private hot tub was luxurious and we felt very secluded despite other lodges dotted around the site. During our stay we visited the local Steart Marshes any had a lovely walk and watched the wildlife. We also visited Great Wood in the nearby Quantock Hills AONB - stunning landscape! The only thing I would say is that local attractions are fairly limited and we had to drive much further to visit a decent beach, as the local North Somerset coastline isn't up to much.Overall a fabulous and relaxing stay at Henfields and we would return!

Our lodge had everything you could possibly need. I was a little apprehensive given we're still seeing the effects of covid19 but the place was absolutely spotless!Perfect for a week of piece and quiet. Wifi was spot on and smart TV with Netflix at the touch of a button was the icing on the cake. Hut tub is dreamy and staff are so welcoming and friendly. I don't think anything could have been better! Thanks for a lovely stay. :)
