The hot tub is frequently highlighted as a highlight, contributing to a relaxing experience. The owner's warm welcome and helpfulness are also well-regarded, adding to the property's charm.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Reviews frequently mention the cleanliness of the accommodation, describing the facilities as 'spotless' and well-maintained. This suggests a high standard of cleanliness that guests appreciate.

The location is highly praised for its proximity to local areas of interest like Cheddar and Axbridge, as well as for its rural feel and beautiful views. The accessibility to walking and cycling routes adds to the positive feedback.

Guests find the lodge comfortable, noting the quality of the bed and the overall cosiness of the pod. However, a few guests mentioned the bed size and lack of wardrobe space, which slightly impacts the comfort score.

The facilities, including the hot tub, kitchen, and digital TV, are generally well-received. However, there are comments about the heating not working properly and the bathroom being cold, indicating some room for improvement in maintenance.

While many reviews express gratitude for the owner's hospitality and helpfulness, there are no specific mentions of gifts or special thoughtful touches that are guaranteed for every guest, so a score cannot be provided.

! small but cozy, the hot tub was lovely after a full day of exploring. The extra heater they’ve popped in is an added bonus for this cold nights in the winter. The shower was abit temperamental with heat, only ever felt lukewarm even though I had it up on full temp (not sure if this was just us being silly). The owner was very friendly and the horses were a lovely thing to wake up to in the morning. Would definitely recommend!! Will be coming back x

Some traffic noise but we soon got used to it. The bed wasn’t the most comfiest but didn’t spoil our stay. The hot tub was a very welcome end to the day. Definitely recommend a visit in to Axbridge and to sample the coffee shop for the cream tea and Ridley’s for the most amazing bacon and sausage bap. The New Inn in Cross, just a five minute walk, does lovely meals. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

The location was beautiful and peaceful, and convenient for lots of nearby attractions and walks. The hot tub and fire pit were an added bonus and felt like a special treat. Great for couples. Thank you.
