About this Holiday Cottage
Boasting views of the Glastonbury Tor and the ancient St Michael’s Tower, Gertie’s Cottage is a quaint, yet contemporary cottage with stylish interior.
This lovely cottage is located in the Somerset countryside with easy access to a number of attractions – making it the perfect destination for both families and couples.
Our self catering holiday cottage is a cosy base for your holiday with additional conveniences including under floor heating, off road parking, entertainment facilities including hardwired internet and access to a communal garden with furnishings.
Inside
The open plan living space has high ceilings and striking medieval exposed beams throughout. The lounge has comfortable sofas set around a Smart TV with DVD player and an electric heater.
This room has runs through to the modern kitchen area which is well equipped for self catering, comprising a gas cooker, combination microwave, fan oven and grill, dishwasher, fridge freezer and a washer dryer.
There is a separate dining area with a wooden family table and four seats. This area is overlooked by the unique galleried bedroom.
Bedrooms / Bathrooms
The bedroom, situated on its own galleried platform has a king size bed and skylight windows framing the striking St Michael’s Tower on the famous Glastonbury Tor. The room has ample storage space for clothes and boasts plenty of natural light.
Our cottage has a ground floor shower room and WC. There is also a sofa bed in the lounge for an additional two guests.
Other Things to Note
Bed linen and towels are provided for your arrival and all bills are included in the rental price of the property. A cot, highchair and play pen are available at a small additional charge on request.
Please note that the cottage is strictly non-smoking and we cannot accommodate pets in this cottage.
We also have three further holiday cottages, a touring caravan park and camp site.
Around and About
Gertie’s Cottage is positioned in the Somerset countryside and enjoys access to a number of walking and biking trails.
Topped by the ruined remains of St Michael’s chapel, the landmark Glastonbury Tor is visible for miles and is only a short walk from the cottage.

Availability
There is a minimum stay of 3 nights and weekly/fortnightly changeover days are either Friday or Saturday. Please contact us for short break availability.
Directions
1 mile from Glastonbury heading towards Shepton Mallet, after passing the first turn to Ashwell Lane the entrance can be found after a further 150 metres on the left.
