The Old Canoe Club in Plymouth is highly praised for its stunning location, comfortable amenities, and well-equipped facilities. Guests enjoy the proximity to local attractions, the beautiful views, and the thoughtful touches provided by the owners. While there are minor issues mentioned, the overall sentiment is overwhelmingly positive, with many looking forward to returning.
Most guests found the property to be clean and well-maintained, though there were isolated incidents of cleanliness concerns which the hosts acknowledged and committed to addressing.
The location is consistently lauded for its great views, proximity to the sea, and easy access to local attractions like the Royal William Yard and coastal walks.
Guests find the property comfortable, with special mentions of the beds and sofas. There was a minor issue with a stuffy middle bedroom and z beds suitability, but overall comfort is rated highly.
The property is well-equipped and guests appreciate the amenities. Some maintenance issues were reported, such as smelly drainage and a smoky log fire, but these were exceptions in otherwise positive feedback.
While guests mention thoughtful gestures like a welcome bottle of Cava and fudge, there is not enough consistent information across reviews to score this category. It should be noted that such gestures are appreciated but not guaranteed.

We stayed over the Christmas period. The house was really well equipped, we could not have asked for more. It was home from home. We are looking forward to returning. Thank you.
