A lovely cottage with great views. What let it down for us was finding a dirty nappy in a bag and two pairs of pants in one of the bedroom drawers! Also privacy in bedrooms is an issue you if an older family group as two bedrooms have bottle glass doors which let in light from hall and see through when bedroom lit. I managed by hanging blankets behind door but impossible to cut out all light. The log fire was smoky with the smell lingering for a couple of days (we used it once only for this reason, and my son in law has a log burner so knows what he is doing). General house guide asked that washing machine seal should be cleaned to avoid mould - but it was mouldy when we arrived. However, plentiful supplies of essentials (hand wash, loo rolls, coffee, etc) which we appreciated. A nice welcome gesture of a bottle of Cava and some fudge, Hosts acknowledged issues raised and said they would take action.
