Alternatively, pack your towels for a day along award-winning beaches at Membury, Stoke and Mothecombe, as well as Bigbury on Sea, Burgh Island and Salcombe a little further afield. The vibrant port city of Plymouth is also a short journey away with something for the whole family to enjoy such as a theatre, cinema, sports centre, indoor and outdoor swimming, and diving pools.
