This property enjoys a fantastic location in one of Devon s most picturesque areas. Noss Mayo a quaint riverside village is situated on the south side of the Yealm Estuary offering a range of traditional village shops including a butcher baker post office and two delightful pubs each with waterside views. The village is also home to a well regarded sailing school as well as offering boat hire and being an ideal location to spend an afternoon crabbing on the estuary side. Just across the river and accessed via a foot boat is the pretty village of Newton Ferrers which makes a lovely place to spend a leisurely afternoon. For those looking for a more lively day out Plymouth which is just ten miles away offers something to suit all tastes from a splendid range of shops boat trips an aquarium and a fabulous art deco seafront lido. For beach lovers nowhere could be more idyllic than the privately owned Mothecombe a usually quiet large expansive beach which visitors may recognise from the film International Velvet. On the ground floor of this pleasant barn conversion property guests will find the welcoming lounge with its beamed ceiling comfortable sofas TV DVD a payphone and a cosy woodburner-effect electric fire. A door from the lounge gives guests easy access onto the property s attractive shared gardens. The kitchen/diner is located just off from the lounge and offers a six seater dining table alongside all the equipment that guests will need to make themselves feel at home including an oven and hob fridge/freezer microwave and dishwasher. For those guests who require laundry facilities a washing machine and tumble dryer are available in a shared onsite laundry room for which a small charge applies. Upstairs there are four bedrooms. Two of these are double bedrooms which enjoy views over the shared gardens. The further two rooms are both single rooms one of which has a smaller than average 2 6 bed. The bathroom with its shower over bath and WC is also located on the first floor whilst there is a convenient separate WC to be found on the ground floor. Outside guests have access to the lovely shared gardens which make a great place to relax and spend time in the tranquil surroundings. There are BBQ facilities available here as well tennis courts which all guests have access to. A table tennis table is also available in the shared games room so more competitive guests can still enjoy a game or two even if there is a brief rain shower. There is parking available onsite.
