Set in the rolling South Hams countryside, this delightful, holiday property is within easy reach of beautiful beaches and wonderful walking on Dartmoor and the South West Coast Path. Families can enjoy Pennywell Farm, the South Devon Railway and Bovisand Beach. Excellent sailing at Noss Mayo. Plymouth with shops, Barbican, aquarium and Plymouth Hoe, is 7 miles. The friendly owners live in the adjoining 17th century farmhouse and run a little plant nursery on site; there are always fabulous flower displays. Shop and pub 1 mile.

We telephoned Mrs West before we left to tell her of our arrival time, and she was ready for us when we arrived. Parking was by the door for our car and the cottage was spotless. Everything you needed was provided, tea bags, coffee, sugar, biscuits, eggs, milk, cleaning stuff, the list goes on. The furnishings were very comfortable and we slept well. There are stairs to the kitchen from the lounge and when upstairs, there are additional stairs to the bathroom/toilet from the main bedroom. If you are less mobile then you may struggle. Overall a well equipped and spotlessly clean cottage for an excellent stay.
