We spent a fantastic week here in August 2025. The view from the chalet is breathtaking. You are high up and can see all the way across to the Rame peninsula as well as parts of Plymouth. The city was easy to get to as were surrounding areas such as Dartmoor Zoo, only 25 minutes, Mount Edgcumbe (40 minutes car ferry) etc. There is a main beach which is fantastic, shallow water and great for young uns and for paddleboard and general water fun. The chalet was great and is suited for 2 adults and 2 kids (bunk bed in the kids room, so best suited for young ones). Furnished nicely and my daughter loved the corner sofa especially. The only down side is that towels weren't included which meant we had to double up our beach towels as bath towels and therefore ended up doing multiple washes.Other than that, our stay was fantastic.
