The listing includes the word "idyllic" which is completely inappropriate for its situation alongside a surprisingly busy minor road. The double bed was extremely uncomfortable: a mattress topper would have helped. There was no oven glove, a dangerous omission from an otherwise well equipped van. Good location for touring the area and some lovely walks direct from the door.

The lodge is very comfortable and brand new. All the equipment you need is there. There is plenty of parking space as well for cars. It also has a lovely breakfast cafe on site. The lodge is a good base to visit the coast and places like Cheddar, Glastonbury and Wells. We were very happy staying here. The only thing I would say is that it would be good to have a few more basic amenities such as hand soap, kitchen cloth so that you don’t have to run to the shop immediately. The wifi is strong enough for web browsing and emails, but you cannot do video calls. All in all we would certainly recommend.
