Situated in the heart of the idyllic and much photographed village of Stanton, which sits on the Cotswold Way, below the wooded Cotswold Edge, Stanton is home to some of the prettiest Cotswold cottages, a medieval Parish Church, and a much-loved village pub, The Mount Inn, with fabulous far reaching views. The village of Stanton was once owned by King Henry viii who bequeathed the village to his surviving wife Queen Katherine Parr, and her Manor House still stands, just along the road from Lindisfarne. Just a couple of miles away is beautiful Broadway, often referred to as ' The Jewel of the Cotswolds' and bursting with bespoke boutiques, antiques, fine art, tea shops, pubs and restaurants.
