Around 1.5 miles away, the well-trodden Cotswold Way offers an easy-to-follow route through this idyllic corner of the region. The nearest large town, Stroud (7 miles), is a hub of traditional English charm, with a lively high street featuring eclectic shops, popular farmers’ markets and a wide choice of appealing eateries.
