Wonderful walks with stunning scenery await you within the forest and the Wye Valley, which is very popular also for mountain biking. There are numerous fun places to visit with attractions such as Go Ape, Puzzlewood, Dean Forest Steam Railway, Dean Heritage Centre, Clearwell Caves and the Sculpture Trail. The cathedral city of Gloucester, Monmouth, Chepstow and the pretty market town of Ross-on-Wye are all within a short drive. Private use of the hot tub can be arranged and sessions are bookable on arrival. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.

Me and my partner stayed at the Stables cottage for a long weekend over the bank holiday, and we had such a great time! Did lots of walks that were only 10 minutes from the location we were staying at which is perfect! There isnt loads to do from a walking distance near to the cottage, but its a lovely, peaceful and private area which is perfect to have a relaxing holiday (even if we did pick the hottest weekend of the year so far) Definitely would recommend this cottage

We found it to be cosy and clean, whilst keeping the farm style, and with in the area that we wanted to visit. The owner was very thoughtful and helpful.
