A short drive will take you to the traditional seaside town of Weymouth, where there is a popular sandy beach backed by an esplanade, as well a good selection of amusements, shops, pubs and cafes. Head across the causeway to the Isle of Portland and visit the lighthouse at Portland Bill or relax beside the historic Weymouth harbour. Nearby amenities include a cliffside pub and farm shop.

A long, steep sloping pedestrianised path or flight of external steps takes you up the hillside to the property. From the main entrance door there is a raised deck with steps to a gravelled terrace.
