A welcoming cosy living space. Bedrooms well furnished and had comfortable beds. Great shower room, really large and accessible. Lounge kitchen comfortable and well furnished. Plenty of cooking utensils and crockery. The wood burner was a definitely a plus although we had just had a heatwave. Would have had 5 stars as a little updating needed. Some pillows need replacing, USB points needed, we failed to find cereal bowls. We had a few lengthy electric outage’s probably the heavy rain but apparently not unusual. There windows were single glazed. Only the small top windows opened and some we failed to shut. The owner was very pleasant and brought hot water for tea during the second outage.

The Chicken Coop was outstanding. It was larger than I expected and beautifully presented throughout. Everything was immaculate. The furniture etc was very good quality and the quantity of cutlery and crockery etc was extremely good. The cottage is a short distance off the main road which enables guests to drive to places of interest. There are also lots of quite narrow paths which can, with care, be used by vehicles, but I found them particularly enjoyable for walking and studying the surrounding scenery. The Chicken Coop is definitely worth a second visit.
