Sitting opposite Creech Hill Woods, The Cottage at Creech Hill House, with its stylish and contemporary accommodation is located just over a mile away from the charming villages of Cranborne and Wimborne St Giles in East Dorset, and ideally situated for exploring the delightful Cranborne Chase.

The bright and modern accommodation at The Cottage is all on the one level, with an open-plan layout including a large well-equipped kitchen, separate dining space and two sitting areas. The living space is ideal for gathering friends or families together to relax over a good meal, or in front of the wood burning stove after the day’s activities. The master bedroom has a generous walk-in wardrobe, and there is a second double bedroom and a twin room with single beds. The luxury family bathroom has underfloor heating, a contemporary free-standing bath and a separate shower enclosure.

Known as 'Chaseborough' in the novels of Thomas Hardy, nearby Cranborne is a charming village of red brick and cob houses on the River Crane. The village has two pubs, a restaurant, village stores selling local produce and a garden centre with cafe. Cranborne Manor dates back to the Middle Ages when King John was a regular visitor during his hunting trips in the Cranborne Chase. Nearby Wimborne St Giles lies within the Shaftesbury estate which is owned by the Earl of Shaftesbury, and there are footpaths and bridleways inviting you to explore the glorious countryside all around. The delights of Wimborne, Salisbury, Sandbanks and Poole harbour are within easy reach, making The Cottage a perfect base for many adventures.

The cottage shares its entrance gate and drive with the neighbouring Creech Hill House.

The property has a small courtyard garden with a table and chairs for six guests. Please note between October and April the furniture will be stored, so please request if you would like use of the garden set.
