Outside the wonder continues, where you can choose to sit out on either the front or rear of the property, chasing the sun with the rolling hills making a beautiful backdrop at any time of year, as you enjoy alfresco dining or barbecue. The local area of Bulkington is wonderfully remote; the walking is superb and can be accessed from your doorstep, taking you around the village or right up to the Salisbury Plain. The nearby Kennet and Avon canal offers excellent walking to Devizes taking in the The Caen Hill locks, or as far as Bradford -on -Avon and even Bath for the serious walkers. The village pub, The Well, offers excellent food and at 0.3 miles is only a walk away. Surrounding villages boast excellent pubs for you to enjoy, from The Raven at Poulshot, The Barge on the banks of the Kennet & Avon canal at Seend, The Three Magpies at Sells Green and The 3 Daggers at Eddington which has its own micro brewery to enjoy. Guests can access a full range of supermarkets (Waitrose, M&S, Tesco, Saisbury's, Asda, Morrisons, Lidl & Aldi) in Melksham, Trowbridge and Devizes, or shop at local high quality farm shops in the surrounding villages. If you're seeking shopping experiences, Bradford on Avon, Bath and Salisbury are easily accessible by car or train (from Trowbridge) and Swindon offers retail outlet shopping too. The market town of Devizes offers its own museum where you can learn of history of the area or take a tour of Wadworth Brewery, or a trip to Marlborough would bring history to life as you discover the delights of Avebury, Silbury Hill, and West Kennet LongBarrow. Venturing further afield to Salisbury you can take in a visit to Stonehenge (17 Miles) and of course the backdrop of many costume dramas Lacock (only 9 miles away), with its historic Abbey, the birth place of photography, is a must for any trip. Or if you fancy something a bit “Wilder” Longleat House and Safari Park is less than 16 miles away. Bath boasts magnificent architecture as well as a plethora of historical wonders to discover including its roman baths and spa, imposing abbey and range of museums, while the Cotswolds and North Wessex Downs' Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty pose the perfect experience for the avid outdoors lover. The Old Dairy is a spectacular choice for your escape to the historic West Country.

The Wiltshire village of Seend combined with the sub village of Seend Cleeve offer everything you could need for a self-catered stay in the English countryside. With a farm shop for all of your cooking requirements as well as a selection of friendly pubs, there's plenty within the local area, while nearby Melksham offers even more amenities. Visit Bath and marvel at its wondrous architecture, or visit the Cotswolds or the North Wessex Downs aonbs for fantastic walking routes and a plethora of nature.
