Brewers Quay, an area popular with visitors and locals is only a five-minute walk away and has numerous restaurants, a pub, bistro and cafe along with an atmosphere of people enjoying life, making this the perfect place to enjoy a night off. Adjacent to Brewers Quay is the lovely old harbourside. Just next to Brewers Quay is Newton's Cove, a little pebbly beach favoured by the locals for its peace and tranquillity and Nothe Gardens which overlook the sea. The old harbour is the perfect place for fish and chips sitting on the harbour wall watching the flotilla of boats sailing past. A 10-minute leisurely walk around the harbour or a short row boat ferry ride across will take you to the award-winning main beach, with its golden sands and shallow waters. Adjacent to the beach is the Weymouth town centre. With so much just a short walk away you won’t want to travel anywhere by car. If you want to you can explore further along the magnificent Jurassic Coastline, famous for its fossils and millennia of history, or one of our traditional villages such as Abbotsbury for the children's farm, tropical gardens or a cream tea.

Visit Dorchester, Thomas Hardy’s “Casterbridge”, only 7 miles away, or take a journey along the scenic coastal road and call in at Abbotsbury Swannery and Subtropical Gardens. Alternatively, just head down to West Bay - the views of the stunning Dorset Heritage Coastline are not to be missed!
