Arriving at the property, you have the option of two convenient off-road parking spaces, one located at the front, along with a neat front garden, and the other at the rear of the property. Stepping inside, be charmed by the homely living/dining room, where you can cosy up with a glass of wine and enjoy a film night on the TV in the warmth of the electric fire, or gather round the dining table to enjoy a delicious home-cooked meal and toast to a wonderful holiday. Cook up a storm in the contemporary kitchen, which has everything you need to ensure your guests needs are catered for, including a handy washing machine for those sandy clothes after a day at the beach! As the evening grows darker, retire to one of two beautifully decorated bedrooms, the first being a nautically decorated double, paying homage to properties coastal surroundings, and the second a twin. Wind down for the evening with a hot soak in the bath with your favourite book, as your pyjamas warm on the heated towel rail. Prepare drinks for your guests and enjoy them at the lovely seating area whilst soaking up the sunshine. Explore your local surroundings, starting with a trip to Smallmouth Bay which is right on your doorstep, here you can expect gloriously sandy beaches, views of Portland Harbour in the distance, as well as a host of watersports on offer, it is perfect for a fun-filled family day at the beach. Be sure to stop at the famous Crab House Café where you can enjoy high-quality and fresh seafood with beautiful sea views. Take a leisurely stroll over to the seaside town of Weymouth, where you will be spoilt for choice with the array of activities, treat the family to a fish supper whilst walking along Weymouth Harbour, indulge the children with a trip to the Sea Life Centre or a round of golf at Weymouth Pirate Mini Golf, before spending the rest of the day at Weymouth Beach, where you can sunbathe, paddle and build sandcastles. Further afield is the town of Dorchester, bathed in culture and home to the National Trust site of Max Gate, once home to and designed by the great writer Thomas Hardy in 1885, here you can wander the interiors of the house as well as the lush walled gardens.
