Wander the beautiful orchard and with the owners blessing, enjoy an apple fresh from the tree when in season, or enjoy a morning coffee as you wander the orchard and watch the wildlife come out to play. You will have sole use of the acre of orchard abutting woodland where you will be thrilled with the space and views of the countryside right on your doorstep.

Once through the front door you will find a cosy sitting room with TV and views over the rolling hills. Throw open the double doors onto the patio where you can enjoy a relaxing drink or meal together in the shade of the orchard. The country kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need to cook up and enjoy a delicious meal together and you are welcomed with a continental breakfast hamper. The master bedroom has views over the owner’s extensive gardens and surrounding hills, and with an en-suite shower room, it’s a delightful place to refresh and recharge after a busy day of exploring.

The twin bedroom is tucked away at the back of the cottage and offers full flexibility with either twin singles or zip and link double bed, served by the family bathroom meaning there is space for everyone to relax. Whilst you maybe revelling in your escape to the country, you are only 4 miles from Weymouth’s award winning beach with its golden sand and shallow waters. You will also find everything else you would expect from a seaside resort such as restaurants, cafes and bars, and don’t forget to enjoy fish and chips on the harbour side. Chesil beach is only 2 miles away and from here you can join the South West Coast path and reach the National Sailing Academy, a further 6 miles and find all manner of exciting and relaxing water sports.

Drive (or take an energetic walk from Chesil Beach) on to Portland and from the top, take in the breath taking views along the Jurassic Coastline and see what landmarks you can spot.
