Coggs Cottage is situated in the scenic coastal village of West Bexington and the mid-terraced cottage style property has modern comfortable accommodation for family parties. It has an enclosed rear garden where you may take in the sea air and a partial view along the Chesil Coastline from Portland at the rear to Lyme Regis and beyond from the front. The nearby Manor Hotel offers both lunchtime and evening menus along with the must have Dorset Cream Tea! Or take a short stroll along the nearby pebble beach and visit the beach cafe for refreshments. Situated on the World Heritage Status Jurassic coastline the nearby market town of Bridport is a short drive to the west and Weymouth with its Georgian seafront, old harbour and sandy beach is a lazy drive through picture postcard villages and breathtaking scenery to the east. Go north to climb Hardys monument and take in the panoramic views all around over the glorious Dorset countryside. A short way away is The Fleet, a haven for local wildlife and at nearby Abbotsbury you can try feeding the swans at its famous Swannery and also visit the sub-tropical gardens.

We loved our holiday cottage. The location was just perfect. Sea views from the front and back of the cottage. Two minute walk to the beach along a gorgeous, quiet road, lined with lovely properties. Right next door is a great little hotel/restaurant where we had a lovely family meal on our last evening there. The cottage - just lovely. Owners have provided every home comfort. Clean, inviting, with super little extras like the welcome basket of goodies. The dog biscuit in the dog food bowl was a very thoughtful addition. Put simply, I fell in love with the cottage and area and have told the other half that I want to retire there. xx Stayed May 2017

Such a lovely cottage with everything you need to have a lovely holiday. Gorgeous Views from the bedroom windows. West Bexington is such a lovely place to stay right by the sea.
