Mimosa, located in the Dorset Coastal village of West Bexington has wonderful views of the World Heritage site Jurassic coast as well as the rolling hills and patchwork fields of West Dorset. Guests staying at Mimosa will benefit from wheelchair friendly accommodation with spacious rooms all on one level, including an accessible wet room, conservatory and separate chill out room. A patio area with tables and chairs is the perfect place to enjoy an alfresco lunch in the sunshine whilst surveying the wonderful views. Surrounding Mimosa are gardens for you to explore, pockets of lawn are interspersed with paths and an orchard (help yourself to apples and pears!). Pull on some wellingtons for a walk and with a short hop and skip across two fields and you will find yourself directly on a stretch of the world famous Chesil Beach. Alternatively you may drive down to the beach and park up. This stretch of beach is frequented by fishermen and you will often see them sitting under their colourful little tents, it's also a haven for walkers and sun worshippers. A little tea room is within walking distance following the path across the field, ideal for a cup of tea after a hearty walk or just head home to your comfy cottage sheltered from the elements; kick off your wellies and warm your feet on the underfloor heating. Mimosa is the perfect location to relax off the beaten track to the sounds of birds rather than sitting in traffic; Come and enjoy time away from your busy life at Mimosa. Mimosa Cottage, Whispering Pines and The Fossil and The Cross are surrounded by lovely gardens. Whilst each cottage has a distinct and separate area for their use, these gardens are not enclosed and so children should be supervised.

Terrific cottage in fantastic location. Every conceivable comfort for disabled person and carer and very well laid out. Equally good for any able-bodied family or couple. Well-equipped kitchen with nothing missing. Really couldn't hope for more. Sea view from beautiful garden was magnificent. Stayed July 2018.

We were particularly impressed by the helpful owners, Sue and Henry Pearse as they moved a sinlge bed into the double room in order to facilitate the hospital bed my husband had to use. Also we found Active Mobility in Dorchester gave good service in delivery and collection of bed - thank you for recommending them to me. Stayed June 2018

A lovely cottage, excellent for a family with a wheelchair user. Spacious rooms and comfortable beds and pillows. Both adapted toilets are of a high standard. Being set in pleasant gardens with a sea view made it very restful. Parking spaces are very well set out. Stayed June 2018
