Waterson is tucked away in the coastal village of Osmington Mills. Ideal for families who love the outdoors, this spacious but basically furnished VisitBritain rated 3 star holiday cottage is surrounded by countryside and only a few metres from the coastal path. Inside you will find three large bedrooms sleeping seven and plenty of living space for the whole family. The living room is perfect for entertaining and comes complete with pool table and board games. For those who want to relax there are a variety of books and stunning sea views right from the sofa. Behind the property is a large lawned garden which children and dogs will love. To the front and side, there is a decked area, and more sea views. The house and the surrounds have the perfect ingredients for a seaside family holiday. Osmington Mills is a great base for discovering the county. A short walk from the property is the village pub 'The Smugglers'. This dog friendly pub is steeped in history and serves good food with a small stony beach ideal for rock pooling just a short walk from the car park. Up the lane there is a horse riding centre. To the east you can explore The Purbecks with its rustic rugged coastline. Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove are only a 15 minute drive away. Only a 10 minute drive to the west is Weymouth, famous for its long golden sandy beach. Further on you'll reach Bridport, West Bay, Charmouth and Lyme Regis all within an easy drive and fantastic for fossil hunting!

Bedroom 1, twin single beds. Bedroom 2, super kingsize double or twin single beds. Bathroom, bath with shower over, hand basin and toilet. Stairs to first floor: Cloakroom with hand basin and toilet. Bedroom 3, double bed and single bed, shower cubicle.

We have just spent two weeks in the perfect location in Osmington. Waterson Cottage was more than we could have imagined. The cottage was perfect for our family with three large bedrooms, a spacious lounge, two bathrooms and and plenty to do. Our family enjoyed the use of the pool/snooker table and having the opportunity to play the games or read the books provided.The kitchen was well equipped for all our needs.The location is lovely, we spent time on the decking overlooking the hills surrounding it looking at the deer and badgers. It was wonderful to see birds of prey circling overhead too.The children enjoyed playing in the garden, exploring, seeing all the different fruit trees.We are looking forward to returning to Waterson again as it was the best holiday we have had in all the 16 years we have been coming to Weymouth.
