The small village of Plush lies within the parish of Piddletrenthide in the county of Dorset. Perfectly nestled amongst the Dorset Downs, an area of scenic splendour, the village makes a great holiday base for exploring this scenic county. The village is home to a popular, 16th century inn, The Brace of Pheasants, which serves tasty home-cooked produce, whilst just two miles away in Piddletrenthide, there is a convenience store selling the essentials. The surrounding area beckons glorious countryside, with direct access to public footpaths abounding in superb walks. Nine miles away lies the market town of Dorchester, with its array of interesting shops, pubs, restaurants and museums, it is well worth a visit.
