Guests say

Molly's Cottage in Dorchester is highly praised for its beautiful furnishings, comfort, and central location. Guests appreciate the well-equipped space, cleanliness, and the thoughtful touches by the owners. While some minor issues are noted, such as a small kitchen and a damp patch, the overall experience is very positive, with many guests planning to return.

Guests consistently mention the cottage being super clean, which indicates a high standard of cleanliness. One mention of a damp patch does not significantly detract from the overall impression.

The central location is frequently highlighted as fantastic, with easy access to shops, pubs, restaurants, and local attractions, making it an ideal spot for visitors.

The cottage is generally described as comfortable with super comfortable beds, though there are some comments about uncomfortable lounge seating and issues for taller guests with low ceilings.

Facilities are well-regarded, with the cottage being well-equipped and having high-quality appliances. However, the score reflects concerns over a small kitchen, a non-working dishwasher, and a damp issue.

The provision of coffee, tea, and biscuits, as well as good communication with the host, show thoughtfulness. However, as gifts are not guaranteed, this should be kept in mind for future guests.

Stylish, spotlessly clean, comfortable, warm, very well equipped. Clear instructions and welcome pack in kitchen too. Easy parking (permit provided) right outside. Lovely central position.

  • Anne

Damp patch in the bathroom and top floor felt very damp. Lounge seating was great just to sit for a while but not comfy for watching the tv at night.

  • Kate

Perfect location for exploring Dorchester and Dorset. The dog loved her early morning walks in the nearby park.
