This quaint little holiday cottage is located in the popular coastal village of Burton Bradstock in Dorset.

Spend time walking and taking in the local coastline or take a drive to West Bay, which is less than two miles away, giving you a chance to explore the colourful fishing harbour and to sample some of the locally caught crabs and lobsters.
A drive to historic Abbotsbury is highly recommended, after you have explored the village and you have paid a visit to the sub-tropical gardens and Swannery, you can journey along the coast road which spans the whole of the Chesil beach and view the breath-taking coastline from the top of Abbotsbury Hill.

Burton Bradstock is the perfect spot for a peaceful break on England's south coast, with the South West Coastal Path running alongside for you walking enthusiasts. The village itself boasts 16th and 17th century thatched cottages as well as two pubs, a shop and a Post Office, the glistening Hive Beach is a wonderful spot to spend the summer days with the magnificent cliffs as a backdrop, there is also a lovely café to sit and relax in, once a year the Spring Tide Festival is held which would be worth lining up your holiday with! There are many attractions and activities to enjoy around here, with the stunning coastal resort of Weymouth making for an excellent day out. Alternatively, head inland to the county town of Dorchester and Yeovil for great shopping, architecture, eating and drinking.

Garden has been improved with a small deck & new bistro set. Pungent smell of dogs when we arrived but think it was from the Vacuum cleaner as when used it the smell was terrible. Surprised the cleaners didnât smell this and standard of cleaning in general was very poor which is a real shame as theCottage itself is lovely, very cosy & in perfect location for morning walks over to Hive beach.

1) Traffic noise from the road alongside was continual from early morning until late evening. 2)As we arrived in October, we would have thought that the heating would have been pre-set. The only available heating was the electric heater in the lounge (under a deep layer of dust) - hence the cottage was cold. 3)The wash basin in the bathroom was blocked so we had to wash in the kitchen. 4)We found overall the cottage to be cold, noisy & not at all cosy.

It turned out that the heating system was ineffective too. All of these things were dealt with in a polite way and quite promptly. The cottage is in quite a nice location.
