Snaptrip says

Sea Pink Cottage is a well-maintained property with a comfortable bed and a well-equipped kitchen, set in a lovely village ideal for dog walks and exploring the Purbeck area. Guests have appreciated the property's cleanliness, cosy vibe, and the thoughtful welcome gifts. While current building works and proximity to a main road have been noted, the cottage's charm and the area's natural beauty are highlights.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The cottage generally receives praise for its cleanliness, though there are isolated mentions of issues such as dog hairs and a less than perfectly clean fridge. The majority of guests found the property clean and tidy upon arrival.

The location is appreciated for its proximity to walking paths and local attractions, but the current building works and the cottage's position next to a main road have affected the tranquillity for some guests. The village setting and nearby pub are seen as assets.

Guests find the cottage comfortable, particularly highlighting the super comfortable bed and cosy atmosphere. Some guests mentioned issues with road noise and a bed on a slope, but overall, the comfort level is rated highly.

The cottage is well-equipped, with a good Wi-Fi connection and a pleasant garden. However, there are comments about the need for better glazing to mitigate road noise, and some guests suggested additional kitchen equipment. The building works have also impacted the enjoyment of the facilities for some.

Many guests were delighted by the welcome gifts, which included items such as bread, milk, and treats for dogs. While these gifts are mentioned positively, it should be noted that such gestures, though appreciated, are not guaranteed for every stay.

The garden of the cottage is a building site, which was not expressed in the description on line. Also access to the cottage itself is not very easy, car is parked some distance away and access involves going through an old run down wooden door, through an old school reception hall, going down some narrow steps, down some more steps and then to entrance of the cottage. Cottage itself was lovely, but everything around it was not. Cottage not that clean either which was disappointing. over all ok for few days as a base but not for a long stay.

Cottage needs an indoor back door mat, one dumped outside is growing grass and a mixing bowl would have been useful otherwise cottage was well stocked, bed very comfortable and I am sure the pillows were filled with clouds as they were sooo soft. We will be back again one day so we can see what happened to the building site, and have another lovely holiday.

There are regular and reliable buses from the village to Swanage, Corfe Castle, Poole and elsewhere. The cottage is nicely designed though visitors should be aware that the shower isn’t very good as it leaks from the hose and so you get not much than a dribble. There is no freezer and only a small ice box in the fridge, which doesn’t close properly and is consequently too iced up to fit much in. The WiFi is sketchy so you have to be patient with that. Cleanliness not great - floors not properly cleaned and found half eaten biscuit under the sofa and had to wash the crockery as had food remains still on them. It’s good that we knew about the construction before we went but it inhibits sitting in the garden on a nice day due to the noise in particular. Plus there’s a smell of wee so maybe there’s a septic tank nearby. There was a nice welcome gift on arrival, which was appreciated. We booked through Sykes and although we had a good time, in general we have come to expect better from a holiday cottage booked through them.
